The AI ROI Tracker is a tool for AI consultants and implementation teams to measure the real-world impact of AI projects. You capture a baseline (hours, cost, revenue before AI), then log periodic measurements to track time saved, cost reduced, and revenue gained over time.
Create a project and fill in your baseline — how many hours the task took before AI, the monthly cost, and any revenue it generated. Then add measurements at regular intervals (weekly, monthly, quarterly) recording your actual hours with AI, actual cost, and actual revenue. The dashboard calculates ROI, time saved, cost saved, and breakeven automatically.
Yes. Each project can be tagged as Internal or Client, with an optional client name. You can filter your dashboard and project list by owner or client to see exactly what's happening for any specific engagement.
Use the Export API at /api/export to download your data as JSON (full backup) or CSV (summary per project, or raw measurements). You can hand the CSV directly to clients or import it into Excel for custom reporting.
Projects move through Planning → Pilot → Scaling → Optimized. Planning is early scoping before AI is in use. Pilot is the initial test deployment. Scaling means expanding the implementation. Optimized means the AI workflow is mature and delivering consistent results. You can update a project's phase at any time.
Yes. All data is scoped to your account — no other user can see your projects or measurements. Admins can only view data if explicitly granted access. Authentication is handled by Clerk and data is stored in Convex with per-user access controls.
